Polywrapping revival at Northprint - 10-12 May 2011, Harrogate, UK
We attended Northprint 2011, presenting products from our range of envelope inserting, polywrapping, creasing and booklet making equipment.
These included the Mailmaster C4 Compact, DL to C4 envelope inserter and a 4 station MailWrap polywrapper. Also on show was the Creasematic Auto 50 card creaser with modular inline folder.
According to the organisers the show had over 2,200 visitors over the three days and Managing Director of KAS Paper Systems, Stephen Hampstead, said that: “We were happy with the quality of visitors we met. We made a number of new contacts and renewed some existing ones.
We think it’s important to support shows like this as they provide a good opportunity to listen, get feedback and a feel for the market place.
As a manufacturer we are always looking for an opportunity to demonstrate our equipment. One pleasing aspect at the event was the amount of interest in our MailWrap polywrapper and a seemingly increased level of interest in polywrapping in general.
Some visitors wanted to bring work in house as increased demand would now justify the investment; or just because they wanted to be self sufficient.
Others were looking to replace their existing old and inefficient equipment.”
The KAS Paper Systems’ MailWrap polywrapper machine was getting attention because the work that visitors told us they were getting suited this medium size machine better than more expensive higher speed machines that often require a long set up time and more operators.
Our machines run at sensible speeds and the relatively quick set up means that it is ideal for short runs as well as having the durability to handle longer runs. It also has a relatively small footprint and provides exceptional value for their performance.
The next Northprint will be in 2013, although the location may well be different. KAS Paper Systems hope to be there and continue to support this type of industry event. Comment...
