Simple Desktop Collators

Manufactured in England as all of the KAS paper handling systems have been for almost fifty years, the economically priced Collator range has been specifically designed to provide years of service.

A number of tried and tested features have been incorporated into these compact, desk-top collators to ensure the delivery of complete sets time after time.

For example, on the CollatorMatic, the speed control can be advanced so the collator will produce up to 1800 (8 page) completed sets per hour or alternatively, slowed sufficiently to allow the operator to take each set at a time for the next process i.e. hand feeding a bookletmaker.

With the SetMatic range, when using A4 paper the delivery tray can be set to rotate through 90 degrees between the delivery of each set, for positive set separation.

Alternatively, if sets are to be fed into an off-line bookletmaker, stapler or even be inserted into an envelope, you may wish to use the on demand feed system. Operated by a photocell, the collator will collate a single set once the preceding one has been removed from the delivery tray, automatically keeping pace with the operator.

Another worthwhile feature is that the Collator ranges can be loaded during operation providing a significant improvement in productivity.
